In a nutshell: After two albums that defined their respective eras, Unkle return with their most ambitious move yet. Adapting their widescreen sound, they rely here on guitars more than electronics, and though the guest list it still stellar (Josh Homme, 3D, Ian Astbury), James Lavelle also ventures to the mic himself for the first time.

Imagine if you will: U2 going back to The Joshua Tree with a head full of more than just sanctimony.

Verdict: A ‘rock’ act with more than just yesterday on their minds.
