In a nutshell: The latest from the excellent Defected label is another labour of love – in this case by renowned club and Radio 1 Worldwide DJ Gilles Peterson. Stretching back to his teenage years as a South London soul boy we get a slice of his roots in a place where disco met jazz and spawned a host of future classics. That is CD2. The first disc is a peachy taste of Gilles love of contemporary house. And then on the third we get a brace of specially commissioned cuts from house stars of today and tomorrow.
